Epsom Salt

Epsom Salt Organic Bath Salt

Epsom Salt, named for a saline spring at Epsom in Surrey, England, is not actually salt. It is a naturally occurring mineral compound of magnesium sulfate that looks like salt. The wonders of adding Epsom salt to a warm bath have been well-known for hundreds of years.
Since some studies have shown that magnesium and sulfate are easily absorbed through the skin, an Epsom salt bath may help boost your body’s levels of magnesium and sulfate. Magnesium plays a number of roles in the body including regulating the activity of numerous enzymes, helping muscle and nerve function, and reducing inflammation. Sulfates help improve the absorption of nutrients, flush toxins, and may help ease migraine headaches.
An Epsom salt bath is known to ease pain and relieve inflammation, making it beneficial in the treatment of sore muscles, fibromyalgia, and irritated skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema.

Some other health benefits include relaxing the nervous system, soothing back pain and aching limbs, soothing tired and sore feet, healing cuts, treating cold and congestion, and providing itch relief from sunburn and poison ivy.
Our Epsom salt does not contain any additives such as anti-caking agents, free-flowing agents, or conditioners.
