Organic Tea Tree Essential Oil

Tea Tree essential oil, Melaleuca alternifolia, is a natural antiseptic, germicide, antibacterial, fungicide, and deodorant, that refreshes, stimulates, and deep cleans the skin and scalp. Australian Aborigines discovered that the oil from the leaves of the tea tree provided a natural cure for a wide variety of ailments and it is often referred to by Australians as a "first aid kit in a bottle." The oil, extracted from the tree leaves by steam distillation, has a medicinal and penetrating scent that many describe as clean and refreshing.

Tea Tree has antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties. Research studies have demonstrated its effectiveness in eliminating bacteria, viruses, and fungi. It is also great for reducing minor inflammation.

Next to thyme, it is the most antiseptic of all oils, but unlike thyme, it is gentle even for sensitive skin. Its antiseptic and healing properties make it a wonderful natural remedy to help rosacea caused by Demodex mites. It can treat wounds, provide soothing relief for aches, pains, and congestion, and even clean surfaces.

A valuable medicinal oil, tea tree helps heal infections, and soothe skin disorders like topical allergic reactions, rashes, and burns. It helps fight acne without causing dryness or other side effects of modern-day acne treatments. Tea Tree is often the main component found in anti-acne and anti-blemish face products and is an excellent skin cleanser and toner.

In hair care, tea tree oil is used as a treatment for dry scalp, oily hair, dandruff, and itchiness. It removes scalp build-up and helps rejuvenate dull lifeless hair, leaving hair soft, clean, and manageable. Tea Tree oil offers a gentle alternative to chemical-laden haircare products, The antifungal properties of tea tree oil are especially helpful in treating dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis caused by a yeast-like fungus called Malassezia.

Aromatherapy Properties: The fresh, purifying, herbaceous, camphor-like scent will help soothe your mind, invigorate your senses, and refresh your spirit. It can help reduce anxiety and thus help you fall asleep faster and improve sleep quality.

The anti-inflammatory properties of its aromatic scent may relieve swollen sinuses which can help relieve symptoms of congestion, such as clogged sinuses and runny or stuffy noses. Being a potent expectorant, it can help clear mucous deposits in the nasal passage, which provides relief from chest congestion and helps soothe a dry, irritated throat.

Diffusing Tea Tree oil also helps purify and refresh the air. It acts as a natural, non-toxic air freshener that may help remove bacteria, viruses, and mold from the environment.
